Dubh , Bran, Flipper (in the background) management, staff and present volunteers wish all of our readers a very holy and joyous Christmas and a very happy and peaceful New Year.

Recently we had a visit from students who entertained our residents.  For Christmas, Polivalente No. 10  Centro de Estudiantes  presented us with an artificial Christmas tree.

Thank God that it did not rain on the afternoon of Wednesday 7th December 2011.

After a working lunch between bishop Damien and Fr. Liam, the bishop was invited to bless the new statue of the Mother of God.  The statue replaced one that was out in the open  which showed its age.

Several staff members and volunteers were present for the event.  Hymns were sung, then the blessing of the statue by Bishop Damien followed by some prayers.  The statue was brought from Ireland in the past.

Recently we reported that Mario was well again.  Since that report, he has improved enormously as the above photos show.
